The University of Vermont Medical Center

The University of Vermont Medical Center, in Burlington, VT: is the primary teaching hospital of The Larner College of Medicine at The University of Vermont. It is a primary stroke, STEMI, and level 1 trauma receiving center, and is the major source of tertiary care for the state of Vermont and upstate New York. With an annual census of 70,000 patients with very high acuity, the emergency department is known for quality patient care and dedicated teaching faculty.
