Becoming a research participant helps investigators conduct scientific studies that may bring about life-changing treatments and cures for conditions and diseases that impact every human being. The information below is for prospective research participants.

Directions to the CRC

Body

The CRC is located on the 2nd floor of the Shepardson building. Take the East Pavilion elevators to the 2nd floor/Orange Level.  Exit the elevators and turn right at the Information Desk. Proceed down this hallway (it will bend left, right and right) until you reach the doors leading to the CRC. Press the intercom button to gain access and proceed to Room 222 to check in for your visit.

Arrival: Research participants will receive free parking in the UVM Medical Center parking garage. We will validate the parking stub when you arrive at the CRC. 

Valet Parking is available for people with a handicap placard at no charge. 

Departure: Research participants should present the claim check to the attendant in the garage tollbooth. 

If you need assistance getting to or from your car, you may ask for assistance at the Information Desk on Level 2 or 3, and someone will transport you to the CRC.

Registration Process

Unless otherwise instructed by the research coordinator, please go directly to the CRC to register and check-in for your visit.  

Once you arrive at the CRC, basic information such as address, phone number and emergency contact person will be confirmed.
