BIO

Dr. Copeland is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont and the Thomas M Achenbach Chair in Developmental Psychopathology. His research program has focused on understanding the epidemiology and long-term outcomes of childhood emotional and behavior problems. This work involved leading the prospective longitudinal Great Smoky Mountains Study which has been following 1420 participants for 30+ years. He is also involved in teaching undergraduates through the Healthy Brains/Healthy Bodies class.

Bio

Dr. Copeland is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont and the Thomas M Achenbach Chair in Developmental Psychopathology. His research program has focused on understanding the epidemiology and long-term outcomes of childhood emotional and behavior problems.
