BIO

Tracy Hagerty is an assistant professor of Internal Medicine, Cardiology division. She thrives on building meaningful partnerships with her patients to help them live their healthiest lives. Her clinical and research interests focus on pericardial disease but she also has expertise and clinical interest in echocardiography, prevention of heart disease and arrhythmia management. Her volunteer work and interests also focus upon outreach to underserved population as well as community education and legislation for the prevention of sudden cardiac arrest. She teaches in our LCOM for the cardiology course as well as serving as the associate course director of the longitudinal course in Professionalism, Communication and Reflection. She is an associate program director for our Fellowship Program.
