BIO

Toshi Uchida is the inaugural Associate Dean for Curriculum at the Larner College of Medicine and the Dr. Yvette Pigeon Professor in Medical Education. She is a General Internist and Professor of Medicine. Dr. Uchida joined LCOM in July of 2025 after 25 years in Chicago at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, Rush Medical College, and Cook County Hospital. She has deep experience in curriculum and assessment, with particular expertise in clinical skills development and human simulation. Dr. Uchida is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School; and she completed her training in primary care internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Bio

Toshi Uchida is the inaugural Associate Dean for Curriculum at the Larner College of Medicine and the Dr. Yvette Pigeon Professor in Medical Education. She is a General Internist and Professor of Medicine. Dr. Uchida joined LCOM in July of 2025 after 25 years in Chicago at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, Rush Medical College, and Cook County Hospital. She has deep experience in curriculum and assessment, with particular expertise in clinical skills development and human simulation.
