BIO

Dr. Gupta is a Structural Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in percutaneous invasive treatments for valvular heart disease and coronary artery disease. His specific clinical interests include transcatheter aortic valve replacement, transcatheter mitral valve repair or replacement, transcatheter tricuspid valve repair or replacement, repair of congenital heart defects, and percutaneous coronary intervention. 

He serves as the Associate Director of Cardiac Cath Labs at University of Vermont Medical Center. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Larner College of Medicine. His research interests include clinical trial research and clinical outcomes research in the field of Interventional Cardiology. He serves as site principal investigator and co-investigator on several industry-sponsored device clinical trials at UVM Medical Center. He has published >100 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals in leading cardiovascular journals including JACC, JAMA Cardiology, JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, and Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions. He is a regional and national expert in the field of Structural Heart Interventions and is routinely invited to speak at scientific meetings.
