BIO

Tanner Storozuk, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. He is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, as well as cytopathology. His clinical and research interests include gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology and cytopathology. Dr. Storozuk is actively engaged in the education of medical students and pathology residents at the Larner College of Medicine and within the University of Vermont Health Network.


Dr. Storozuk has presented at national pathology meetings, including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, the American Society of Cytopathology, and most recently the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases annual meeting. With a focus on advancing the fields of gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology, as well as cytopathology, his scholarly publications address topics such as drug-induced injuries of the gastrointestinal tract, cytopathology and the management of thyroid nodules, among others. A dedicated educator, Dr. Storozuk contributes to medical student lectures and grossing laboratories at the Larner College of Medicine, providing both hands-on and didactic instruction. His service to pathology and patient care is further demonstrated through his contributions to gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology and cytopathology services. He is a frequent participant and valued resource at daily intradepartmental consensus conferences and weekly multidisciplinary conferences.


As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Storozuk is committed to excellence in patient care, with a focus on initiatives such as standardized pathology reporting and advancements in digital pathology. His work emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and service to improve clinical care, advance research, and enhance medical education.
