Dr. Shalina Nair is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Family Medicine. Her expertise includes clinical operations and quality improvement to advance clinical excellence by providing high-quality and safe patient care across all departmental clinics. Her research includes hypertension management addressing health disparities to improve cardiovascular outcomes and improving colorectal cancer screening and outcomes through targeted outreach. Her teaching has been centered around quality improvement.
