Rahul Anil, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Vermont Robert Larner, M.D., College of Medicine. His primary clinical and academic focus is genitourinary oncology, with particular interests in prostate, bladder, testicular and kidney cancers.
Dr. Anil's academic interests center on clinical research and the development and implementation of novel therapeutic strategies for patients with genitourinary malignancies. His research interests include clinical trials, biomarkers, treatment optimization, and the role of the microbiome in genitourinary cancers. He is involved in NCTN and industry-sponsored clinical research and has a particular interest in expanding access to clinical trials across both academic and community oncology settings.
In addition to his genitourinary oncology practice, Dr. Anil provides hematology and oncology care within the UVM Health Network. He participates in multidisciplinary cancer care and is actively involved in the education of medical students, residents, and hematology/oncology fellows.
