BIO
Dr. Nichole Michaeli, MD, MPH, DTM&H, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Vermont. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Brown University and a Global Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In addition to clinical work in emergency departments across UVM Health, Dr. Michaeli is passionate about global health. She has collaborated with international NGOs, universities, and humanitarian organizations to improve emergency care in numerous countries including Kenya, Liberia, Somalia, Jamaica, Ukraine, and the West Bank. Her research and professional interests include global emergency medicine, humanitarian response, and capacity strengthening for frontline providers.
