Dr. Naomi Hodde is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Academic Hospitalist. She received her medical degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and completed Internal Medicine Residency at The University of Washington. She helped design and subsequently led the Oncology Hospitalist program at UVM Medical Center from 2017-2025. She serves as associate division chief of Hospital Medicine for the UVM Health Network and focuses on education and professional development. She teaches communication skills in serious illness to medical students, residents, faculty, and interprofessional practicing clinicians as a senior faculty and coach in TalkVermont and VitalTalk. Her research interests include interprofessional education and high functioning team-based care in the clinical environment.
