Martha Seagrave is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and serves as the Director of Medical Student Education Programs in Family Medicine. Her academic work locally and nationally has focused on developing innovative and experiential curricula that introduce students to the breadth and value of patient-centered, comprehensive, continuity care. She is passionate about family medicine as the true medical home for patients and that health starts with understanding the context in which our patients exist. She strives to prepare clinicians who are skilled, reflective, and responsive to the people and communities they serve.
