Dr. Forbes is a general and developmental–behavioral pediatrician who serves as Division Chief of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at UVM Health. She is a Co-leader of a multi-departmental Autism Assessment Program with clinicians from the Division of Child Psychiatry and Department of Psychology. Her clinical work focuses on early identification and support for children with neurodevelopmental needs, informed by her training in public health and experience building family-centered systems of care. She teaches medical trainees at all levels, and is known for fostering inclusive, collaborative learning environments. Her leadership emphasizes integrated care, community partnership, and strengthening systems that help children and families thrive.
