BIO
Alan Howe is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and the Department of Molecular Physiology & Biophysics, and is also the University of Vermont Cancer Center Associate Director of Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination. His research focuses on the mechanisms through which cells sense and interpret the extracellular micro-environment and how this regulates cell behavior, with a specific interest in how this regulation contributes to the invasion and spread of metastatic tumors.
