Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the knowall domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. Brightspace – End of Semester Checklist

Instructors are responsible for backing up their courses.

There is no automatic archive process. Deleted data in a Brightspace course cannot be recovered. All courses are deleted two years after the term closes.

The end of the semester is a good time to take care of any number of housekeeping tasks regarding your courses. Here are some steps you can follow to make sure that you are prepared for the term switch.

  1. Create and download an archive of your course.
  2. Download a copy of your Grade Center.
  3. Save archives and grades to your hard drive or to OneDrive.
  4. Make the current course inactive. Follow the steps in this article by unchecking the Course is Active box.
  5. Unpin your course in Brightspace.
