BIO

Michele Guyette serves as the Assistant Director of Engagement for Prism Intercultural Center, where she leads strategic promotion and outreach efforts for Prism at UVM, the WAGE Center, and the Men & Masculinities Program. In this role, she builds strong connections across campus and the broader community to elevate the work of the Intercultural Centers, the Division of Intercultural Excellence, and the University of Vermont.

Michele also serves as a key resource to the Intercultural Centers by developing shared systems, standard operating procedures, templates, and communication processes that support consistent, accessible, and inclusive engagement across all centers. She actively collaborates with campus partners and participates in relevant campus-wide and community initiatives to ensure the Center’s work is visible, impactful, and aligned with institutional goals.

A first-generation University of Vermont alumna, Michele earned her Bachelor of Science in Community and International Development from UVM and is currently a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program. She is deeply committed to educational access and fostering a welcoming, collaborative environment for students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Michele is fluent in English and Portuguese and has a strong working knowledge of Spanish. Known for her outgoing and approachable nature, she enjoys connecting with others, listening to their stories, and helping individuals and communities thrive.
