Staff Scavenger Hunt

1. Review the clues listed on the scavenger hunt form.
2. We suggest visiting the locations in the order presented, but feel free to complete the scavenger hunt in any order you prefer. Use the clues provided to locate and visit each scavenger hunt destination,
3. At each location, take a photo of yourself or your team at the site.
4. Complete and submit the scavenger hunt form, including your photo(s) and responses.
5. Participants may complete the scavenger hunt individually or as a team. Only one submission per team is needed.
6. Need help getting around campus? Participants are welcome to use the UVM Shuttle Bus to travel between scavenger hunt locations.

• Scavenger Hunt: Thursday, September 24 through Wednesday, September 30
• Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted by the Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Social on September 30 @3pm
• Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Social: Wednesday, September 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Eligible participants will receive a prize upon successful completion and submission of the scavenger hunt.
• Prizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
• Prizes may be picked up at the designated prize pickup table during the Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Social on September 30, 2026. If you are unable to join us for the Ice Cream Social, please stop by the Central HR office in Waterman 228 between October 1 and October 9, 2026.
• For remote employees who live and work outside of Chittenden County, prizes can be mailed accordingly.

• The clues are based on fun facts from UVM's history and are intended to guide you from one location to the next.
• Please ensure photos are uploaded with your submission where requested.
• By submitting a team entry, you confirm all team members participated in the activity.
