Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to announce the launch of the search for UVM’s next Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). I have engaged Isaacson, Miller—the firm that supported our recent presidential search—to help identify and recruit top candidates for this key role. 

In the coming weeks, Isaacson, Miller will hold targeted listening sessions and distribute a campus-wide survey to gather input on the priorities and strengths we should seek in our next CHRO. 

Key details about the process: 

• Once finalized, the position description and prospectus will be posted on the Isaacson, Miller and UVM Jobs sites. 

• Search committee membership will be announced after the committee has convened. 

• We expect to review candidates by mid-February, begin interviews later that month, and host campus visits with the goal of selecting a finalist in March 2026.
