On February 2, 2021, President Garimella announced salaries and hourly rates for non-represented employees who received mandatory pay reductions will be restored. To accomplish this, the university will begin providing additional payments to eligible non-represented employees beginning with the first pay cycle in March.
The first additional payment will reflect the reduced earnings applied to wages from July 1, 2020 through the end date of the first pay cycle in March. Paydays are March 15 for employees who are paid semi-monthly and March 12 for employees who are paid bi-weekly. The remainder of the amount due for the rest of the fiscal year will be paid out in seven equal payments over the remaining pay periods of this fiscal year. The restored salaries and hourly rates will be reflected in the university’s payroll systems effective July 1, 2021.
More details about eligibility, effective dates, pay schedules, and answers to other frequently asked questions are available on the Human Resource Services website.
Thank you for your continued dedication and good work; both helped to make this pay restoration possible.
