For more than 35 years, UVM has been involved with the HERS Leadership Institute (Higher Education Resource Services), an intensive professional development experience that prepares women identified faculty and administrators for leadership roles in higher education. Aimed at mid-to-senior level participants, our partnership with HERS has allowed us a unique avenue to cultivate talent and mentor aspiring campus leaders who have, and continue to, contribute to our university in a multitude of important ways.
The application submission deadline is 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 11, 2021. UVM applicants can find detailed information about the HERS program, including instructions on how to apply, at https://www.uvm.edu/develop/hers-leadership-institute-program. To receive the University’s scholarship, applicants must apply by submitting the required documents outlined on our website. Applicants should not complete the application on the HERS website.
Professional Development and Training will host a virtual information session on Monday, February 22 from 12 - 1 p.m. at which time prospective applicants can ask questions and learn more about the program. HERS alumni will share their experience and answer questions.
