The goal setting portion of the 2026 Performance Evaluation will open in PeopleSoft's ePerformance on May 1, 2026. Initially slated to open on April 1, the goal setting period will be delayed a month to allow all staff and supervisors to complete the 2025 performance evaluations.
Goal Setting for 2026:
Goal setting is the first step in the updated performance review process and provides an opportunity for employees and supervisors to collaboratively define priorities, expectations, and development goals for the year ahead. Goals should align with departmental and institutional priorities while also supporting individual growth and success. Please review UVM’s new Strategic Plan: Green, Gold, and Bold to align goals with the University’s strategic direction.
Starting on May 1, employees and supervisors can begin drafting and refining 2026 goals in PeopleSoft. Supervisors will review and approve goals to complete this step. The 2026 performance document will remain accessible throughout the year, allowing for ongoing notes, feedback, and adjustments as needed.
