Professional Development and Training is pleased to announce that EDU@UVM, our annual staff learning special event, will go virtual this year! Our theme: Worklife in the Time of COVID.
Starting March 16, ten EDU@UVM learning workshops will be offered via a series of one-hour lunchtime sessions. The opening session begins at noon and is the first of a 3-part series, Becoming Our Best Selves, featuring nationally recognized wellness speaker Laura Putnam. Provost Patty Prelock will launch the series and open EDU@UVM 2021 with Life and Love in the Time of COVID: How to Build Hope and Resilience in a Challenging Time.
EDU@UVM 2021 is filled with a variety of not commonly offered workshops; we are offering two virtual sessions per week through the end of April. In keeping with this year’s theme, workshops include Parenting During the Pandemic, Ergonomics at Home, and Radical Self-Care. Laura Putnam will return on April 14 to present Me at My Best: How to Drive Personal Performance and Well-Being.
We hope to help you develop personal and professional resilience as we continue to operate during these extraordinary times. For a full list of EDU@UVM workshops, and to register for sessions, visit our website (www.uvm.edu/edu). All workshops are free but pre-registration is required and space is limited.
