2011 Vermont Forest Health Highlights. Produced by the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation, with support from the US Forest Service State and Private Forestry, the highlights include updates on the state's forest resource, information about our forest health activities, data on 2011 pest problems, and recommendations for managing forest and pest interactions. The more detailed report, Forest Insect & Disease Conditions in Vermont 2011, will be posted soon. This will include maps showing results of aerial detection and invasive pest surveys, and a comprehensive list of tree health problems that were reported to us last year.
