Larger Departmental Moves
Larger departmental office moves associated with Renovation/Construction projects are coordinated by the Planning, Design & Construction team. See Renovation/Construction Project Services for further instructions.
Minor Moving Requests
The Recycling crew provides limited moving services for campus departments. For example, help with moving boxes, files or furniture between buildings and with removing items destined for disposal, recycling, or surplus. If needed, they will coordinate with outside contractors or refer you to an outside moving company.
Note:
- We do not supply empty moving boxes.
- File cabinets must be emptied for us to safely move them.
- All items must be clearly labelled to indicate where they are being moved to.
- Please provide as much detail as possible in your request, e.g., does furniture need dissassembly
- Advance notice and planning ahead is required.
