During the summer, we offer convenient and affordable housing for UVM students wanting to stay on campus beyond the academic year.

APPLY FOR TEMPORARY HOUSING

Temporary Housing 

$196 per week ($28 per night)
Minimum one week stay

Housing dates summer 2023: May 29 - August 6

Who can apply: UVM students. Applicants may be subject to a background check.

PAYMENTS

RATES

$28.00 per person / per night
Please note there is a minimum one week stay. 

DEPOSIT

We require a 50% deposit to be submitted with your registration. Your reservation is not complete until your deposit has been received. You will receive a confirmation email once your reservation has been finalized.

BALANCE PAYMENTS

Balance payments will be due on or before your check out date.

CHANGES

Changes to your reservation must be submitted with at least 10 business days notice. Please submit changes in writing to eventregistration@uvm.edu.

AMENITIES & ADDITIONAL SERVICES

AMENITIES

Interns will live in single-occupancy dorm-style bedrooms. There is a shared bathroom on each floor of the building, as well as a common kitchen area for all interns to use during their stay. If you have any questions, please email summerhousing@uvm.edu.

WE PROVIDE:

  • Free WiFi
  • Access to free laundry in residence hall
  • Access to nearby parking (fee applies)
  • Access to a shared kitchenette (please note that these spaces are in high demand during the summer; we recommend residents rent or buy their own MicroFridge)
  • Communal lounge space in residence hall
  • Access to student professional staff 24/7

STUDENTS BRING:

  • A personal fan (residence halls are not air conditioned)
  • Kitchenware
  • A MicroFridge (microwave/fridge combination unit) is strongly suggested. 
  • Linens (twin XL sheets, towels, wash cloth, etc. Linen packet can be rented if needed)

DINING ON CAMPUS

Please visit the UVM Dining website for more information about on campus dining options. This information is subject to change as we get into the summer months, so please check back often.

There will be shared kitchen facilities available in the intern housing residence hall, as well as a wide variety of dining options in the surrounding Burlington area.

FITNESS CENTER

Current UVM students may use the fitness center in the summer free of charge. 

PARKING

Parking is not included in your overnight registration. When you finalize your registration, you will receive instructions on how to pay and register your vehicle.

LINEN RENTAL

Linen packets (includes twin XL sheets, a towel, hand towel, and washcloth) will be available for rental purchase for summer 2023. 

POLICIES

In its effort to foster a healthy and safe living environment, the University of Vermont expects all guests of its housing facilities will behave in a manner consistent with all University policies.

Residents who engage in behavior that violates these policies will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.
