UVM will send email alerts only if there is a direct and significant impact expected on campus. UVM CatAlerts generally will only be sent if we need you to take specific action.

UVM works closely with the State of Vermont Division of Emergency Management and takes part in weather briefings with state officials. University closures are rare, but we monitor the operational status of state offices in our area as well as any state or local emergency declarations as part of our decision-making process.
