The CAT ECare program, in collaboration with the College of Nursing and Health Sciences’ Initiative for Rural Emergency Medical Services (IREMS) and UVM Rescue, proudly marked the installation of its 100th station, equipped with crucial resources: AEDs, bleeding control kits, and Narcan®
The program includes a training component which utilizes students as instructors teaching Basic Life Support, Stop the Bleed, and naloxone administration. The celebration included remarks from President Prelock, Chief Safety and Compliance Officer Michael Schirling, IREMS faculty and CNHS and UVM Rescue students.
