Margaret Maynard is a pediatric occupational therapist with 26 years of experience across a variety of settings, including 10 years in adult upper extremity rehabilitation. She is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), specializing in complex adult and pediatric injuries as well as congenital upper extremity conditions. In addition, she is board certified in pediatrics (BCP).
Dr. Maynard is committed to interprofessional initiatives aimed at enhancing collaboration to improve health equity and healthcare delivery. She was a fellow in the Kern Faculty Fellowship for Humanistic Healthcare. She currently serves on the Occupational Therapy Advanced Certification Commission for the American Occupational Therapy Association, is a Fellow and Chair of the Occupational Therapy Academy of the National Academies of Practice, and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, and the American Society of Hand Therapists.
