Dr. Dupont has dedicated 23 years to the field of occupational therapy, gaining extensive experience in inpatient hospitals, acute and subacute rehabilitation, outpatient care, and home and community-based settings. Her career has been a blend of clinical practice and leadership roles, with a primary focus on older adults. Dr. Dupont's doctoral capstone explored the role of occupational therapy in reducing rehospitalization during transitions of care in post-acute settings.
She is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist through the National Association of Home Builders and holds an Executive Certificate in Home Modification. Dr. Dupont actively volunteers with Rebuilding Together Greater Burlington and serves as Vermont's representative in the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Representative Assembly. Currently, she works clinically with Age Well’s CAPABLE program and runs a private practice specializing in home modification, functional design, and promoting healthy aging in the community.
