BIO

Dr. Feretti is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UVM Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. She is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with a broad range of clinical experience, including acute rehabilitation, home health, and school-based practice. Her clinical work has focused primarily on upper extremity rehabilitation, with advanced expertise in orthotic fabrication and design, management of complex traumatic injuries, pediatric hand therapy, and a particular interest in the treatment of the stiff hand. In addition to her clinical specialization, Dr. Feretti has held leadership roles across multiple healthcare settings. She has directed a large occupational therapy program within an academic medical center, founded and operated a private outpatient practice, and served in executive leadership for a corporate, multi-specialty rehabilitation organization. Her recent research has focused on the care of peripheral nerve injuries, with particular emphasis on pediatric brachial plexus injuries. Nationally, Dr. Feretti contributes to the advancement of occupational therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation through her role as Director of the Practice Division for the American Society of Hand Therapists. She also serves on the Roster of Fellowship Reviewers and the Quality Advisor Group for the American Occupational Therapy Association.
