BIO

Abigail Nevius is a native Vermonter. She attended Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH, for her undergraduate degree. Upon graduation, she returned home and accepted a position on the inpatient cardiology unit at the University of Vermont Medical Center. While working full-time at the bedside, Abigail earned her master’s degree in nursing education from Western Governors University.

She began her career at UVM as a clinical instructor on Miller 4 and Baird 3. Now, she is a full-time faculty member at UVM, teaching Medical-Surgical Nursing and Gerontology. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their rescue cat and dog.
