Step One
Complete the Allied Health Common Application through the Allied Health Centralized Application System (AHCAS) and include the following:
- (3) Letters of Recommendation
- Official Transcript(s) from all U.S. and Canadian schools attended. AHCAS and the UVM MLS program accept prerequisite credits from regionally accredited institutions only.
- Essay: What draws you to the medical laboratory science profession and what goals do you have with this degree? (2 pages, 12-point Times New Roman font)
Step Two
Complete the supplemental UVM Graduate College Application and submit the application fee. NOTE: Research assistantships for MLS students are not available at this time.
- You need not upload a resume or writing sample. Under the personal statement section, upload a PDF or Word document that reads: "See essay on AHCAS application." Detailed UVM Graduate College application instructions are shared here.
Completion of a technical standards form and submission of final transcripts (if applicable) are required for matriculation into the program.
