BIO

Steve is working to earn his Master of Higher Education and Student Affairs (M.Ed.) at UVM. For his role in the the CESS Office of Diversity and Community Engagement, he engages with work that furthers justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion through project support of the Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty Summer Internship, CESS Strategic Planning and Policy Development, and support pathways for incoming students from diverse backgrounds. Steve is also excited to represent CESS on the University Diversity Council.

Steve grew up in Inglewood, California but has called Vermont home for nine years. After earning his B.A. from Middlebury College, he has held roles in residential life, college access and success programming, and selective college admissions. He continues to be passionate about creating inclusive post-secondary opportunities for students.
