BIO

Catherine serves as an Associate Director of Student Services and Retention and an Academic Advisor. In her primary role as am academic advisor, she works with first-year students in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Human Development and Family Science, and Social Work.

After earning her bachelor's degree in International Development Studies in 2016, Catherine moved back to Burlington and served in AmeriCorps developing programs for underserved populations, followed by work for the Sara Holbrook Community Center focusing on educational programming for elementary-aged students. She also spent time working for the Burlington School District where she supported elementary school students in reading and enrichment programming.

Through our Master of Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, Catherine examined racial equity in public education. She is passionate about student success, wellness, and belonging.
