Assistive Technology is a term for creative tools and strategies that help people accomplish tasks at home, school, work, and in the community. The Vermont AT Tryout Center and the Vermont Assistive Technology Program (ATP) work to bring assistive technology to all Vermonters.

Try out AT

There are a number of ways that you can try AT. One way is through an equipment demonstration at a local AT Tryout Center. To read more about equipment demos, visit Vermont's ATP Try It.

Borrow AT

In order to ensure that a piece of equipment will work for you, our loan program allows you to borrow equipment from our inventory for 30-days, free of charge.

If you are interested in borrowing a piece of equipment, visit Vermont's ATP Borrow It to learn more.

Get AT

So you’ve seen an equipment demo, borrowed the equipment for 30 days and found that you really like it, now what? To find information about equipment funding, or the used equipment marketplace, visit Vermont's ATP Get It.

As of 10/1/18, all Durable Medical Equipment (DME) postings have been moved to the current demo and loan website for Vermonters known as the AT Exchange.

As you may already know, past examples of DME posted were: accessible vans, scooters, walkers, wheelchairs, shower benches and canes.  Vermonters can create a free online account after 9/30/18 and post available or needed DME. The site will enable Vermonters to independently exchange DME items with other Vermonters who are members of AT4All. Since the site is also used for our demo and loan services, instructions on how to join and post an item will be available on the home page of the new site. Please call 800-750-6355 or email if you have any questions.

AT for Organizations

Our services are available for organizations too. Visit Vermont's ATP Services for Organizations to learn more.
