Statewide Educational Consultant, Vermont I-Team

Susan Shapiro is a Statewide Educational Consultant with the Vermont I-Team. She has worked as an educational consultant at the Institute on Disability, and taught graduate courses on inclusive education, at the University of New Hampshire. Currently she is on the faculty at Plymouth State University where she coordinates a graduate level teacher education program in elementary education that prepares inclusive classroom teachers. She consults and presents nationally, and authors a blog for SWIFT Schools, a federally-funded national special education project working to create schools that give all children access to social and academic curriculum.
