Eating, elimination and sleep are common challenges for children with and without identified disabilities. In the morning, we’ll focus on family-centered strategies for mealtime and food variety, as well as healthy elimination and toilet-teaching. We'll also discuss basics of digestive health, and their overall importance for children.
In the afternoon, we’ll discuss sleep strategies for children and families. This session will cover the neurology of sleep, typical sleep patterns, common sleep problems and evidenced-based approaches to improving sleep and sleep routines.
This training is most appropriate for the early intervention generalist with any interested early intervention & preschool providers welcome.
