The CDCI CARES Team

CDCI CARES Team consultants support school teams and families with children who are d/Deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind without a bias around communication modes or methodology. All CARES Team consultants hold graduate level (Master’s/Doctorate) degrees from a Teacher of the Deaf, Audiology, or Speech-Language Pathology program.

How the CDCI CARES Team works

We provide every student team access to specialists licensed in Education, Deaf Education, Audiology, Speech Language Pathology and Psychology.  We also collect and share statewide data on students who are DHHDB to make informed decisions and comply with national guidelines.
