For the last several years Rachel Montesano, Senior Lecturer in Spanish at UVM, has taught Service Learning courses in the Fall to support the commemoration of Día de los Muertos among Mexican dairy farm workers in Addison county. In the past she and her students have worked with Alejandra to make tamales and build the oferenda for the Day of the Dead celebrations at the Vermont Folklife Center in MIddlebury.

This year she, Alejandra, and Rachel's Teaching Assistants spent their Friday classes with students baking pan de muerto, a traditional offering for Dia de los Muertos. The next day Rachel, Alejandra and a group of students delivered the bread to farm workers at five farms.

Andy showed up to document bread baking and the delivery.
