​Pathways to the Spanish Major

Below are examples of the types of themes that run through and connect our curriculum. They are by no means the only topics we touch on, but they tend to be the most prominent. We invite you, the student, to imagine these connections or others as you make your way through our courses on your own pathway toward the major. You are not required to choose or declare a pathway, but you may find these suggestions helpful to you as your pursue your studies in our program.

​Before you start:​

Each Spanish major must complete three of the following courses before they start down their pathway of choice:
