BIO
Dr. Toyib Aremu completed his PhD in Sustainable Development Policy, Economics, and Governance at UVM's Community Development and Applied Economics department. His dissertation focused on understanding the types of information used by policymakers and how the production of research synthesis could affect eventual use in decision making. He completed a Master’s in Sustainable Development at the University of Ibadan and had conducted agricultural and food security research in Ghana, Rwanda, and Nigeria, working with government, non-governmental, and private organizations. During his postdoc at ALE, Dr. Aremu will be working with Dr. Linda Prokopy on diversification in the agricultural systems of the US Corn Belt and Northeast.
