Accessibility Barrier Reporting

Body

The Office of Accessibility Services maintains UVM's Report an Accessibility Barrier form. This form lets campus users report physical accessibility issues on campus. The Office of Accessibility Services is then able to act to repair the situation. To be transparent about what kind of physical accessibility issues are popping up on campus, here is a list of the issues the UVM community has reported through the form.

Future Reporting Plans

Body

The Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) will be providing tools to visualize, analyze, and interpret accessibility-related data effectively. They will track accommodations, monitor service usage, and enhance accessibility planning.

Additionally, reports from the ADA Executive Committee and other ad hoc committees will be available to support decision-making and compliance efforts.

To promote transparency and collaboration, the Office of Accessibility will provide comprehensive information on ADA Executive Committee meetings, including schedules, agendas, and minutes, along with details on any ad hoc meetings. This section will also feature annual report data, offering insights into key accessibility initiatives, progress, and ongoing efforts to enhance inclusivity. By making this information readily available, we aim to keep stakeholders informed, encourage engagement, and uphold our commitment to fostering an accessible environment for all.
