BIO
Kallie Bonneau is a Student Success Coach for the Study CATS program in the Center for Academic Success at the University of Vermont. In this role, she works with first and second year students in an academic intervention program, who will benefit from additional directed support. Her work focuses on teaching growth mindset, executive function and academic skills, and increasing student utilization of university resources.
Kallie earned a bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Rhode Island and is currently an M.Ed. student in UVM’s Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration program. She brings a student-centered, compassionate, and strengths-based approach to her work, aiming to meet students where they’re at and help them grow both personally and academically.
Prior to joining the Study CATS team, Kallie worked with the University of Rhode Island’s College of Business as an Academic Advisor, and the Community College of RI as a Student Success Coach. She also has experience with home-based therapeutic services, as she worked as Respite Provider for a few families through the Fogarty Center back home in RI. Her background in working with K-12 and within special education fields strengthens her ability to support college students holistically, with an understanding of varied learning styles, life experiences, and personal challenges.
Outside of work, Kallie enjoys staying active! You can often find her at CrossFit, out hiking or running, swimming in the summer, or walking around town. It’s an added bonus when she gets to share these activities with friends and family.
