Questions about Accommodations or Flexibility?
Students who would like to discuss any accommodation request for a pregnancy-related condition can contact Student Access Services (SAS) via email at access@uvm.edu or at 802-656-7753. Pregnancy-related conditions include but are not limited to a student's pregnancy, childbirth, false pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, or recovery therefrom. What happens if I request pregnancy-related accommodations as a student?
A staff member with SAS will work with you to discuss potential next steps, which may include informal or formal accommodation measures. A SAS staff member will work with you to facilitate the request. You do not have to have a disabling medical condition to request accommodations. Individuals who request reasonable accommodations are protected from retaliation and UVM community members are protected by the Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct policy.
