News & Events
September 08 - Our fall program season is in full swing! During the months of September and October, we will be working with students at Edmunds Middle School, Colchester High School, Northfield High School, Central Vermont Academy, Champlain Valley Union High School, U 32 High School, Folsom School, and Camels Hump Middle School. Check back soon for photos and additional updates.
August 08 - We are currently scheduling groups for our fall program season. Please see our program offerings link at left and contact Bethany Hanna to register or if you would like more information.
International Coastal Cleanup Vermont - Join groups around the globe in this annual world-wide waterway and coastal cleanup event sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy on Saturday, September 20. If you are interested in participating, contact Jamie Ferro, ICC Vermont Coordinator, for more information.
June 08 - Winooski River Sojourn - UVM Watershed Alliance joined the Friends of the Winooski and other partners for this weeklong paddling trip down the Winooski River. The goal of the Sojourn was to inspire individual connections to the river and among the communities and users of the resource. Watch Extension's Across the Fence production on the June 5th program with Crossett Brook Middle School students in Duxbury, one of many educational programs offered in conjunction with the Sojourn.
