The Statistics Program is pleased to welcome Professor Jim Berger as a Burack lecturer this fall. He will be giving talks on Thursday and Friday September 12th and 13th.

Dr. Berger is the Arts and Sciences Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistical Science at Duke University. From 2002-2010 he was also the Director of the Statistical and Applied Mathematical Sciences Institute, one of the National Science Foundation’s mathematical/statistical sciences institutes.
