Staff Council Responses to FY17 Memo distributed to Non-Represented Staff regarding Wage and Salary Increases
 On April 11th, Staff Council President and Vice President and Staff Council Compensation, Benefits & Budget Committee Chair & Vice Chair sent a memo to President Sullivan, Wanda Heading-Grant, Gary Derr and Richard Cate regarding the March 24th announcement of FY17 salary increases. Thank you to all staff who made their voices heard in the days following the release of this memo. Staff Council has recently received a response from the administration acknowledging some of the items of concern, and we will continue to follow up on this issue. 2016 UVM Employee Wellness Campaign Launch: Help us meet our goal!
 Staff Council encourages all those that receive the email and link to the Blue Cross Blue Shield of VT (BCBSVT) health assessment to complete it! If UVM reaches their goal of 1,750 completed assessments UVM will receive $32, 000 from BCBSVT towards wellness initiatives. In addition to this, over 350 raffle prizes are up for grabs. For every 5 assessments completed, one winner will be drawn. If we meet that goal of 1,750 assessments three grand prizes will be awarded: a brand new treadmill, stationary bike, and an elliptical machine.
