Graduating students with any balance due on their student account will be prevented from accessing grades or transcripts until the balance is paid in full. Students with a balance of $200.00 or more will be prevented from receiving their diplomas until their accounts have been paid in full.
To prevent any delays in receiving your diploma, please pay your student account in full by 4 PM on Monday May 11, 2009. For assistance in settling your account, contact Student Financial Services at 656-5700.
Once you've graduated, any official documents from our office will be mailed to your permanent address. Check that yours is up to date quickly from within myUVM.
Once you've logged in select "Update Your Address & Phone Numbers" to see what we currently have on file.
If you need to make any changes simply select "Update" next to the address you'd like to alter.

Immediately following the Arts & Sciences ceremony graduates can pick up their diplomas in the Davis Center Atrium. Distribution of diplomas following the ceremony will be for a limited time only. Diplomas will be available for pick up at the Student Service Center (third floor Waterman) the week following commencement for graduates who are unable to collect their diplomas on the 17th. Please be aware you will need to provide photo ID in order to receive your diploma from our office.
If you are a graduate of a school or college other than the College of Arts & Sciences you should receive your diploma at your school or college's individual ceremony. For graduates who are unable to collect their diplomas on the 17th, diplomas will be available for pick up the week following commencement at the Registrar's Office (360 Waterman Building.) Please be aware you will need to provide photo ID in order to receive your diploma from our office.
The Academic Catalogue states: "Honors are determined in the following manner: Within the graduating class of each college/school, students in the top one percent will receive summa cum laude; the following three percent will receive magna cum laude; the next six percent will receive cum laude. The total number of honors awarded will not exceed ten percent of the graduating class of each college/school." For more information about how honors are conferred go directly to the catalogue.
