Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM
All performances take place in Mann Gymnasium, on the Trinity Campus of the University of Vermont, off Colchester Avenue, Burlington, Vermont. Tickets are $10. Pay for tickets in check or cash at the door. To make reservations, call (802) 656-2295.
A UVM Dance Program spring tradition, Dancing Uphill highlights UVM dance student performers in guest artist, faculty, and student choreography. This year, the program is thrilled to welcome choreographers Lois Trombley and Polly Motley, renowned and talented Vermont dance-makers, in work created on UVM students, as well as dance faculty choreographers Lynn Ellen Schimoler and Clare Byrne. In addition, UVM student musicians and composers have been invited to co-create with the choreographers' process. Together with collaborative efforts with student and professional lighting designers, each piece creates an exciting and experimental dance experience.
