Elected to the Board by the Vermont State Legislature in 2005 and re-elected in 2011. Term expires in March 2017. Born in New York City, NY. Educated at Princeton University, BA, 1968. Member, Vermont House of Representatives 2003-present. Chair of the House Commerce and Economic Development Committee. A visual artist who has combined a career in the arts with public service. Former Board Member, Governor’s Institutes of Vermont; former Chair of the Vermont Arts Council; former Board Member and Treasurer of River Network; former Board Member, National Assembly of State Arts Agencies and New England Foundation for the Arts. Married to Ruth Botzow.
